TO: All Members, Veterans and Veteran Families of Hunterdon County
FROM: Christopher Soldano, Commandant, Hunterdon County Bulldogs, MCL
SUBJ: MCL STATUS DURING CURRENT NATIONAL HEALTH CRISIS
As it is already known via mainstream media, the current crisis is one that we should all be concerned about. The Marine Corps League, on both the National and the Department levels, has deemed it necessary to postpone or cancel activities due to this crisis. We as a detachment will also suspend, postpose, or cancel all Detachment Activities in the area, until a time that can be pronounced safe for us to resume those activities. There have been many guidelines put in place currently, and it is my recommendation that those guidelines be followed.
We as a County and as a Nation need to work together to make sure that we are all doing our part during this crisis. We know that we have many within our organization and families that are elderly and cannot adequately prepare for what is ahead. I would urge everyone to make sure that you follow the guidelines and do what you can to take care of yourselves. Please make sure that for those that have prior medical conditions, that you have a plan in place to make sure that they are taken care of.
We will be posting any information that we receive as to resources on our web site, so please check back. I would also suggest looking at your local government sites for information for your specific area. Many will have that information available for you.
If you need assistance, please reach out. If we have people available to help, we will do what we can. If we do not, we will reach out to other resources to try and help.
Semper Fidelis,
Christopher M. Soldano
Commandant
Hunterdon County Bulldogs Detachment #927
Department of New Jersey
