The parade is cancelled. Unfortunately due to the magnitude of this event and the coordination of many many aspects of military, security, participants, scheduling, staffing, publicity setting a quick rain date is just not feasible. Our apologies, but we value you too much to put you in harms way, and we’re not quite sure what this newly named tropical storm Ophelia will bring.
Church mass will still be on Sunday morning at 10 AM. All are welcome. We can still honor John just not collectively as a parade in the streets unfortunately this year thank you for your kind words and your understanding and we hope that you all remain safe and dry.
