We are delighted to announce that the Hunterdon County Bulldogs Marine Corps League awarded over $21,672 to high school seniors in Hunterdon County. The funds were raised through golf fees, sponsorships, and donations from the 2023 Hunterdon County Bulldogs Marine Corps League golf outing.
To be eligible, applicants had to be an immediate family member of an active duty, reserve duty, or honorably discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces. Six applications received the $1,000 Hunterdon County Bulldogs scholarship. In addition, we established a one-time scholarship fund in memory of Marine Kevin Patrick Bogle (1985-2022). Kevin was a USMC veteran, son, brother, uncle, friend, and an avid golfer.
This year, the Kevin Patrick Bogle Memorial Scholarship Fund amounted to $15,672.80. The best essay out of all the qualified submissions received was awarded this one-time Kevin Patrick Bogle Scholarship in full.
The 2024 Kevin Patrick Bogle Scholarship was presented to Anderson Olcott, a senior at Delaware Valley Regional High School. Hunterdon County Bulldogs Commandant, Tracy Diminick, Chris Soldano and Mary Soldano were there in addition to Missy Bogle, Kevin Patrick Bogle’s sister, who was present to share a few words about Kevin and help congratulate Anderson.
The high school seniors receiving the $1,000 Hunterdon County Bulldogs scholarship are as follows:
- Linsey Godown from Delaware Valley Regional High School
- Christina Peters from Hunterdon Central Regional High School
- Eugene Klein from Hunterdon Central Regional High School

This year’s golf outing to support the 2025 scholarship funds will be held on September 13th at the Beaver Brook Country Club in Annandale. Your generous donations and participation are essential to ensuring the success of our scholarship program and this event.
