Department Meeting

Due to the fact that our next meeting was scheduled to be held on 24 March 2024 -which is Palm Sunday- I did not want to interfere with that date as it is a religious date of observance for many of our members.

 

It was discussed and recommended by the Department Board of Trustees to consider an alternate date.  The change of date also means change of venue as Sea Girt does not permit a change without filing all of the paperwork -including insurance- over again.  

To that end, I have called Sea Girt to let them know that we will not be using the RTI Facility on the March date requested.

 

To that end, we will be conducting our Spring Department Meeting on Sunday, 21 April 2024.

 

The meeting will be held at the American Legion Post 25 Joyce Kilmer.  The address is:  4 J.F.K. Drive, Milltown, NJ.  (Look for the Huey Helicopter).

The entrance to the meeting will be through the back of the Post, not the front.  Then go downstairs through the bar area and continue to the meeting room.

 

As always our meeting will begin with the gavel coming down at 0900.

 

I apologize if this causes any inconvenience, but I think this is in the best interests of the Department membership overall.
